haha power valve?/?? haha im lost.. but the carb is only about 3 years old.. and i bought it new.. from jegs... still havent found any time to check for vac. leaks... and i also need to get a timing light...

Sounds like it needs more initial timing, you are running a bigger duration camshaft and a small bored motor, and the smaller the cubes the more radical the camshaft with feel. Try running a higher intitial advance, you didnt say what your initial was, try setting it at 16-18 degrees. Test and tune.....every hotrodders dream.
For total timing I would start at 36 and try it.Quote:
