    The 49 cc heads you a refering to have a port volume of 180 cc.This is way to much cylinder head for a stock 305 engine and even if he builds a 334 they might still be on the big side.

    Whoever gave you the 441/993 suggestion probably has a set they want to sell. Those are 76cc heads and will put your compression soooo low.
    I intend to live forever; so far, so good.

    I was the person who made this post.
    If you go back and read his posts he has talked about building just about everything.
    The reason for the 441/993 post was the 305 heads are much more prone to cracks than the 441/993 and on a 334 which he talked about building they will work fine with a flat-top piston.
