1976 Laguna 350 Heads
I have a question. I have a 1976 laguna motor sitting in my garage for parts. Some people that i were talking with said that the laguna had high compression heads on them from factory. They say that the heads are 2.02 1.60 heads is this true? I know that the laguna was made for nascar and dominated the chevelles, but im trying to resolve this head problem. Give me a shout out.

I pulled the valve covers and there are no serial numbers. It seems as if the heads were ground with a die grinder to create a smooth surface. All i know is that the motor is a 5.7L 350 that had a 2 barrel and it came out of a 76 chevy laguna.

in 76 all the small blocks, hell all the engines were low compression smog motors, the Laguna was no exception, biggest valve head on a 4 barrel would be a 1.94, or 1.72 on a 2 barrel engine. John75 GMC C-15 factory 454, automatic, lowered

I won't agree or disagree on your opinion of comp cams, but when I put a new cam in the 350 in my 76 Vette I went with Howard's and have not been disappointed. With the junk coming out of China these...
