Crazy/Dumb Idea...

How long do you think the 305 would last with the blower? I'm thinking as long as I dont beat on it too hard I can get the summer out of it.

Thoughts? Worth the price of gaskets to find out?
Yeah !!! Why not ??? Go for it. The original Isky 671 street supercharger drive and manifold kits when they came out in the late 50's and early 60's were for 283 chevys, The isky kits stayed around for a long time. So it shows you how robust the small chevys were, the SBC's had a lot of overengineering put into them as a safety factor. So a 305 with a small blower in good condition low boost and a gasket kit should work okay. It will teach you proper street manners with a blown motor.
