I know the 350 has the same stroke, but the 305 will balance things better. It should come out to a 333ci. I have done all the math and have not found anything that shows that this will not work. I would try to build this combo. with a 5.7 or 6.0 rod.
Or I would just find a 350 block and build a 383.
