I understood that he had the Performer, not the Performer RPM.
The performer doesn't need a spacer/adapter to fit a Q'jet or a square bore.
Yeah, there are a couple of things complicating trying to give an answer on this one. First of all, and I don't mean this as any slam to meebit, but he is rather new to this and isn't able to give us a good idea of what he has there. Secondly, even with the photos, we are not right there to put our hands on what parts he is working with, so in some respects we are just guessing.
Anytime you are diagnosing via phone or computer you are at a disadvantage, and while we all honestly try to give as accurate of an answer as we can, sometimes it is difficult.

Hey guys thanks for the answers and sorry for the confusion. It's my fault entirely, as I have'nt bothered to sit down and put things in a concise manner for you. I've been kind of rapid-firing questions here and there and muddling issues. Sorry for that.
Okay, so here's the deal. The manifold is an edelbrock performer series. The carb is a remanufactured performer series (the OLD carb was and aged q-jet).
I have pictures of all three items in question, I shall post links.

Kind of like 'The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly' only no Clint Eastwood.
All of the pictures are taken with the front of the car to the left of the frame.
I would post the pics right here except that they are quite large and I don't feel like cropping them, atm.
It appears to me that it's a direct bolt on, the only thing in question right now is the gasket.

That is a square bore carb.........the spread bores had much larger secondaries.
I would like to see the top of the carb. Those secondaries do look slightly larger than the primaries.
Anyways, the carb gasket and manifold should work as is.
That appears to be an Eddy 1405 (600 cfm, manual choke) and you won't have a problem with that carb on that manifold with the gasket supplied. I believe all Eddy's are square bore carbs and they work as well on a square bore manifold as they do on a spread bore manifold without spacers.

Looks like a simple bolt on if you ask me. Good manifold for like idle-5500 rpm I think.
