I need help ID'in this engine, THE engine code is V1129CHX, also it has 010 in about 4 places. The heads castings are 333882. I was told it was out of a chevelle. The CASTING is GM 3970010. I want to put it in a 88 transam. I don't knopw If I can or if the engineit is worth the trouble. I could just as easily rebuild the 305 in the transam....help me please!!!
