Question.
Alright I am pretty much a rookie as if you all can't already tell I have a question hopefully not too ridiculous. Is it possible to run a crankshaft position sensor in my 75 nova rather than my distributor?

yes you could but why? for fuel injection you can get a VR signal for crank sensing from a stock HEI distributorYou don't know what you've got til it's gone

Yes, you can run a crank sensor ignition system on the street if you want to, but you'll still need the distributor in place to run the oil pump.PLANET EARTH, INSANE ASYLUM FOR THE UNIVERSE.

Richard,
Yep, but hide the wires under the headers and let the folks gawk at a distributor with no wires . . .Jack
