Detonation!
I am having some difficulties with my Nova detonating after I shut it off. I noticed this problem and have began putting 93 octane in it. I am still having the same problem. It is driving me nuts! Any suggestions would be very appreciated.

That's dieseling, try lowering your idle speed a bit. Oh, well, pull the air filter and make sure your choke is moving correctly and it's not caught up on something or perhaps a little gunked up.

I forgot to mention, but I doubt it is the problem, is that if you're overheating, it might cause similiar issues although higher octane gas like you've been using should counteract that. Let us know!
on small cars yes. but fat fender cars are pretty much the same in size and weight as the donor car. i found s10 brakes work great on fat fender and pickups. a deuce will just need manual brakes...
Time for brakes
