use hi temp permatex to seal the edges of the tstat to the edges of the housing, thats at least how us ford guys do it.... but i cant think of a time i've ever put one in a chevyjust because your car is faster, doesn't mean i cant outdrive you... give me a curvy mountain road and i'll beat you any day
