good luck. i just did one , but telling somebody else is another story. if you could afford a after market wiring harness would help. i use the stock one, but i knew a little about it. you don't need but about 1/2 of all those wires to make it run. if you never worked on the lt1 you probably need somebody there that knows a little about it. i can get you a diagram of the motor wiring, but its hard to get it big enough here to read it. it would be tomorrow before i could get it.
