    100 Octane

     



    Should I be able to run 100 octane at 11:1 without detonation? .039 squish, decked to .000, iron heads. Thanks.

    I run 100 octane with 11.5:1 compression but I have aluminum heads which help a little. But yes, you will be fine but if it is a stroked motor keep the total timing to under 34 degrees.
    Objects in my rear view mirror are a good thing unless,.... they have red and blue lights flashing.
