Firing problem
I have a 68 chevy with what I am almost positive is a 350 in it. I went to replace all the plugs and wires on the HEI distributor but when I did so the whole thing went to crap. I hooked up all the new wires to the right ports on the distributor going to the right cylinders; 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2, and nothing, it just cranks and no fire. Now up the creek I dont know if perhaps I have the wires on the wrong ports on the distributor, what can I do to correct this? I know the firing order is clockwise on the distributor, the one thing is that the distributor is not marked so maybe I have #1 in the wrong spot, this is what I think is going on. Please help.

time for a new forum to visit. when they sold sr.com it went down hill fast. no more forum just a cheap site selling junkie cars. the canadians killed hr.com. mods are real pricks. as with any site...
Where is everybody?
