Last 305, I tore it apart, threw all the old bearings and rings away and sent the heads to the machine shop. When I went to get parts nobody had the .005 rod bearings. I went to all the parts houses and 3 GM dealers. They all told me they didn't show a listing for that size. 10 thousand bearings plasti gauged to tight. Std plasti g boarder line. Ran the STD and it knocked when the oil got hot. Has anyone ever been able to find .005 305 rod bearings?
