there is no front main seal. sounds like you are talking about the HB, front timing chain cover seal. pull the HB off, and if there is a grove where the front seal runs, you will need to install the sleeve, but if the HB don't have a grove in it leave it alone, and just remove the old seal out of the front cover, and knock the new seal back in and reinstall the HB and belts. its not a hard job, but you will need a HB puller, and the sleeve can be hard to knock on sometimesQuote:

Youre right the HB seal...TY for the info ive never done it before. wanted to make sure it was as simple as it looks...

no its not as easy as it looks, you will bend the sleeve knocking it on, if you dont watch yourself, and the seal is hard to drive in on the motor because the cover gives a little and the seal dont want to go in, but it will go.
A don't use a hammer (with or without wood ) to reinstall the HB :HMMM:
Use a proper puller/installer, something like this. :toocool:
