I found a build that has 600 hp and costs $3500, he said he drove it on the street for several thousand miles and raced it all the time and never had a problem with it, he sent pics and was running low 11s and had a high 10 run in a 3500lb car. He never had his engine above 6500 RPMs. True the heads are going to cost a pretty penny, the ones he used are about $1500. I won't be on a budget forever, so any builds you have I would glady take. I would also like to stay small block so I can humiliate him with all his big blocks. He could have been saying all that just to look cool or like he had something better than he did, so I don't know if he actually did that. I am saving now so any and all builds are welcome (but try to keep it under $10,000)
