at this point why? the big block 396 can be bore past .030 and the 454 big block bored past .030 to it would be cheaper and so would the 396 build . if you can find a good 400 small block??? may be harder to find than a good big block and with the big block you do not have to worry about the short rodOriginally posted by erik erikson
The World products Mo-town block will go 4.25 bore X 4.00 stroke in other words a 454.
