how to figure out what kind of tranny i have...
i bought this truck maybe a month ago and im tryin to figure out four speed, and reverse is on the bottom left hand side. he said what kind of tranny i have. all that i know is that the tranny is a that the engine came out of a camaro, but i dont know what year either.

there should be a tag on the trans, or maybe numbers stamped into the housing...Chris

these number's are on the top near where the shifter is inserted:
