Blower or fogger system?

I'm torn between going with a blower system (with all these blower pix & video I've got the bug) or a NOS fogger system. I have built the bottom end for nitrous. And really like the three deuce tunnel ram. The blower would require a piston change and or a head change to lower my 10.9:1 cr. I have 64cc heads with flat top pistons. Would a head change to a larger chamber head lower my cr enough? Now if I had to guess I'm @ about 475hp & 460 of torque. Anyway thanks for any help you could offer.

What block do you have?No,the head change would not be enough.Your car looks very clean.In the pictures you look a little young to have a car like that and a hog to.:)

Since you've already committed to nitrous on the engine build, I'd stick with the juice. And I'm a blower guy, so it killz' me to say that. :LOL: :LOL: :LOL: :LOL:

not really, they are both potent power adders if done properly.

It's just a gm four bolt main block with ARP main, rod & head bolts. Will my cam work with nitrous? Cam specs are duration @ .050=246/246, gross lift .515/.515 & lobe sep/ctr line = 108/104.

.....playing around with the compression ratio calculator at www.campbellenterprises.com I came up with a compression ratio of 9.65 to 1 when using 76cc heads on your engine..... even though you already got that quesion answered maybe you can use the compression ratio calculator in the future..... bill

....Drifter, I'm certainly no expert at this but; I checked my Scoggin -Dickey Catalog & the cams that Comp Cams & Crane Cams list for nitrous have lobe seperations in the area of 112, 113 & 114 for nitrous cams. Also split duration with the exhaust being more by 8 to 13 degrees.... Bill

Nitrous is great but it is really hard to argue with a 6-71 sticking out of the hood.Also did I forget the nice sound of the blower wine.
