    the head bolts go in to the water jacks they need to be seal the coolet will wick up the head bolts and yes the rings need to be stagger .on the oil ring need to at 45 angle so if you look at a clock one will be at 4 O clock and one at8 and the oil ring spacer should be at 12 o clock top ring at 12 and 2 ring at 6 o clock make sure you put the ring on rigth. they may have dots on them his will go s up or some say top if the top ring has no mark and no bevel on the in side of it then it may go any way and the ring gaps should never be past the skirts sides
