CAMSHAFT: New Special Performance Flat Tappet has .435” Intake and .460” exhaust lift. (24502476)
CYLINDER HEADS: Cast iron with 64cc chambers, they “include” 1.94” intake and 1.50” exhaust valves, valve springs and caps, with straight type spark plug holes. (12356026)
VALVE SPRINGS: This engine uses 1970 Corvette LT1 valve springs. (3911068)
I presently have a GM aluminum 4bbl intake from a camaro(I think).
I was pondering a Edelbrock performer or RPM. Do I have enough cam? Will these heads make use of the extra potential of the intake? Running with Headman swap/conversion headers in S-10.
I am looking for a little more torque but dont want to sacrifice too much MPG.
Duration on cam is 212/222.
Fuel delivery: Edelbrock 1406 (650CFM?)
I would go with the Performer or a manifold like that one.
