Can't build a motor for the price of a crate motor of same performance level. If your not looking for a lot of performance, the universal truck 350 sells for around $1350.00 for the long block with 3yr, 36,000 mile warranty. I just put one in a '82 Camaro with 600 Edelbrock carb, and a 268 Comp cam and Edelbrock performer intake. Most everything on the '69 should swap over.
