identifying water pumps
ya every one I was just wondering if some one could tell me how to tell the diference bettween a long and a short small block water pump thanksCHEVY HOTROD IS THE ONLY WAY TO GO or FORD TUFF WITH CHEVY STUFF
and I gess big ass 4X4 are ok to OK there sweet I like to drive one any time Im not in a hotrod ya its a good life up in B.C. lots of good strate strips of pavment and lots of forest and mud to playin

you answered you own ? sit them side by side and where you bolt the fan is closer to the body of the pump on the short pump. the fan on the short pump is 3 or so " from the pump body and the long one is about 5" i'm guessing at that.Originally posted by chevyman
