yes, particularly if it is ground on a LDA of 106 or 108 degrees.

Just to add to tech's info, the smaller displacement engines will idle rougher. With the little info you gave, if you were to install that cam in a 305, it would be choppy. if you installed in in a 406, you wouldn't notice it nearly as much.

If so, it is because the larger cubed engines have a larger air pump, so to speak. For instance, if memory serves me correctly, my 406 has lift in the .650 range and duration @ .050 somewhere around 266 degrees and 272 degrees., yet it idles ok. The 292 cam probably only has duration of 244 degrees. But another factor that comes into play is your compression. The more compression you have, the more duration you can have and still obtain a decent idle. And as Tech said, depends on the LSA.

Actually, that cam on a 350 will be a radical idle. Depending on the compression, good luck with your brakes.
ill be driving it on the street during the week then racing it on weekends
