You could also check out Comp's XE268H. Comp claims that it's the largest cam to use with stock convertor and/or limited engine mods. Limited engine mods would pertain to aftermarker intake and carb. Some headers wouldn't hurt either. Is that a 96-up vortec headed engine? If so a Professional Products dual plane intake (129.00) would work very well and would make decent performance.
