camshaft thrust washer
I'm building a 350 chev. I bought a 292-2H grind cam with hydraulic tappets and a double roller timing gear set. Do I need a thrust washer behind the cam gear or is that only for roller cams ?Last edited by coogan; 01-07-2006 at 08:35 PM.

Re: camshaft thrust washer
You can put one but it isn't a necessity.Originally posted by coogan

Hi, I bought the 70 cc chamber Edelbrock aluminum performer heads. The guy at the speedshop seemed confident in the head/cam combination.

time for a new forum to visit. when they sold sr.com it went down hill fast. no more forum just a cheap site selling junkie cars. the canadians killed hr.com. mods are real pricks. as with any site...
