The pro-magnums are a full roller rocker, the magnum's have a rollertip.IMO,the magnum's are just fine for what you are doing. The plus with the pro is later on you can run just about any spring with them. The magnum's are limited to 350 open spring pressure. Most Vortec heads are done in the .550 lift area as far as any flow unless they have had large amounts of work done to them. The 1.6 will not only give you .030 approx. more lift but it will make the cam act like it is slightly larger.Originally posted by Ross

Vortec heads
bored .40 over 4 bolt block
flat tops, 10.3 compression
comp cams vacu springs or whatever they call them
comp cams 292 h cam flat tappet, 2500-6500 rpm, .501 lift, 292 advertised duration, 244 duration at 0.50, 110 lobe seperation
comps cams valve locks, retainers

im going to pick up some comp cams roller rockers
should i get the magnum roller rockers or the pro magnums? are the pro magnums that much better? also should i get 1.5 or 1.6? thanks

time for a new forum to visit. when they sold sr.com it went down hill fast. no more forum just a cheap site selling junkie cars. the canadians killed hr.com. mods are real pricks. as with any site...
Where is everybody?
