cam hiting rod cap
ight i have a 383 stroker , scat 9000 crank , stock rods , and a
summit cam with 234/244 @.050 with 488/510 lift with a 114LSA,
and my cam is hiting the rod caps , only 3 rods hit the intake lobe,,
gots any suggestions

Grind and sand them, you'll want to have at least .050 clearance.

You'll have to file your rods, buy preclearanced rods, or buy a reduced base circle cam. If you've already had your rotating assembly balanced, I suggest you buy the reduced base circle cam. If not, you should have had it balanced anyways. You'll have to buy longer pushrods to go with the reduced base circle cam.

the thing that really sucks about this is that , an engine guy said this set up would work , and he orderes all the parts and got everything balenced , and we are having everyproblem that a stroker could have

lots of core shift changes that vary block to block. all are different somewhereRAY

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
