Guys I just bought a car with a 671 Dyers blower and the fuel pressure gauge is showing 2lbs isn't it supposed to have 5-7lbs of pressure? it has two 500CFM carbs on top and this is my first experience with a blower motor.

6 psi max at the carb inlet.
if you are trying to drive it with low fuel pressure dont, its a good way to burn a hole in a piston.
2lbs. is a bit low. What does it read at WOT? It should have some pressure. If not adjust it up a bit. Most electric pumps have a pressure regulator some were.
it has 2lbs at idle and the gauge is on the firewall, I tried adjusting it but the regulator doesn't seem to adjust it any higher then 2lbs
Bad pump or bad regulator.
Disconnect the line at the regulator and plumb the pressure gauge into the end of the line with no other outlet, just the gauge deadheading at the end of the line. Fire the pump and check the pressure. Then you'll know.
