Choke Coil
I change the intake on a 327 motor. It did not have a choke Coil on it. And I did'nt think my other choke coil was any good. So I,m running without one. How important is it that I put one on it. Is it a big deal. Or should I not worry about it? Thanks, John.

She might be a little hard to start on cold mornings in Rex, Georgia without a choke. I always run a choke cable to my carbs and make a manual out of it.

I'm assuming you are talking about your electric choke?
Depends on where you live for one, if it gets cold and you drive regularly cold starts could be a problem. Down south here I can get away with no choke since most of the time it's pretty warm here.

Up here in the frozen North, I never used to run a choke, just pedal the gas to start cold. Getting older and lazier now, I run a hand choke on most rigs. Never trusted automatic chokes, they tend to stay on too long. When gas was cheap, that didn't matter so much, but.....
