Why do you want twin turbo chargers? ur just gonna end up spending way more money on a TT setup then buy just getting a Roots Blower, or even a Centrifugal Supercharger. Or are you just wanting a TT set up for the looks? or because its cool?
Hey Jonas E mail me if ya need some help or some questions answered.Ive been a part of several twin projects that are true drive em anywhere streetcars that pretty much blow away any other no trailer queens . right now my nomad is only a single T 72 but it will be out next spring with a couple of 60-1's and as far as Trents coment Yeah it looks cool but it also will completely out perform any other configuration reliably on the street(other than N20 and thats debatable how reliable it is Its way rough on the shortblock) Spooooooolit Up !!!,Ryan

I have very little knowledge in this area but, just wanted to tell you I have a friend that owns a Vette w/twin turbos & it rocks. I drove it & it is a killer.I own a Z06 which is pretty fast but the twin turbo was so fast that, I would not recommend it to anyone who has not been thru a track driving school.

My buddy had Fast Times out of Chicago area help do up a TT. FS does quite a few of them per year.
Dart small block chevy 427ci dyno at 1200 hp. On 91 octane and street trim it was 800 hp. He basically showed up with the car in running order with 8.2 blower pistons and $15,000 later he had a beautiful EFI TT done up in some high grade of stainless steel with a monster air to air intercooler.
change it on the fly A/F ratio and timing from idle to 7500 rpm
Because turbochargers are MUCH more effecient than a supercharger. You can get more HP per PSI of boost with a turbo than you can with any type of supercharger (yes even a latham).Quote:

Here's a link to a video of Chris Chow's GN that went from a turbo 6 to a twin turbo 8. Not subtle and not for the faint of heart.

And yes, that's the tires burning on the dyno!
Here's a link to a local guy's late model Camaro LT1 Twin Turbo
(He's since changed his set up but it was very nice. Even was in GMHTP magazine recently.)
