On the bottom of the mainshaft, (under the rotor) there is a pin which limits the amount of centrifugal advance. This pin, I believe, is supposed to have a sleeve on it. (Corvette Central #271026) I am missing this sleeve. It also has a groove around the pin, maybe for a retaining ring or and e-clip. How important is this sleeve? Does anyone know the dimensions of it? Is there supposed to be a retaining device?
