Chevy 350
Ok guys, I finally got a good running, non-smoker 350, its a 1993 block with head # 10110810, I looked them up and they are 65cc heads. How big are the valves in these?
Are these heads capable of producing 400hp?
If I did a cam, intake, and 750 carb., what kind of power would I get with the heads, in stock form untouched.
Also, what about modifying the heads?
And where would the compression ratio be around on this engine?
Cheers...................

What do you plan to do with the motor? All street, all race or??
What octane fuel will you use?
What rear gear?
What transmission?
What converter?
What size tire?
What's the weight of the car?
Is fuel mileage important?
Is manifold vacuum important?

re
I plan to run the motor for mostly friday and saturday nights, but I still want to have some fun with it. And maybe the odd trip to the drag strip.
Octane level doesnt matter, since I dont drive the car, that much all I want is horsepower.
Rear gears should be 3.73 or 4.11
Right now the 350 will be hooked up to my Fireball Powerglide 2 Speed.
Dont know convertor
Tires are 26 inches tall (overall)
I'd like to get adequete fuel milage....15-20mpg, if I drive it right.
I will be running an electirc water pump, power steering, alternator, power brakes.
I'd like the compression ratio, not to be higher than 9:1, so I could posibly put a Supercharger on it in the future.
All, I need to know is with those stock heads, untouched, with a edelbrock intake, 750cfm carb, and a cam, what kind of power could I get from the 350.
What would be a good intake, dont want to rev higher then 6000rpm, and A good cam for the untouched heads......thanks
