3,000 for a bare block?What have you been looking at?At 550 h.p. you are looking at full roller gear or a lot of N20.If you are careful you could build a very nice 383 turn -key for $5,500 to $6,000 that would make the 550 you are looking for.Originally posted by BigTruckDriver
