383 Pistons
What is the difference between a regular 350 piston and a 383?
Can you use standard 350 pistons to build a 383?

The main difference involves the wrist pin--it is in a different location.

6" rod 383
Does anybody make a piston for a 6" rod 383 that doesn't interfere with the oil ring ? I thought I had seen one somewhere but I dont remember who makes it.78 malibu

Not that I know of, but you can check the Wiseco, Ross, SRP, JE, and Keith Black websites and find out. I am running 6-inch rods with SRP pistons, and it does not bother me that the oil ring runs through the wrist pin area. I don't think it is that big of a deal.

I dont think it is that big of a deal either. Everybody runs them that way. I was just thinking I had seen where someone was making them.78 malibu
