Awsome, I have been waiting for these pictures. :D Motor looks real nice, plain and clean just how I like it. I like that style Edelbrock air filter. I have that pro flo triangle edelbrock filter on my 66 and I think it's too small for it. I should probably put a bigger one on it. Are you using the Elite Valve covers from Edelbrock there? I want to find some used but good finned valve covers and powder coat the insides of the fins with one of these colors of powder I have sitting around and then polish the rest.

Yep those are Elite valve covers and there a bitch to keep clean. Any oil gets down in those grooves and you have to use Q-Tips to clean them out. Next set will be plain SS.

Yeah I have a set of M/T finned valve covers for a small block Ford and they are all stained like that in the fins from oil. I still have them but changed them. I will probably powder coat them and pc the inside of the fins black so it's not noticable as much.
All ball milled stuff would look really nice. Too bad I can't afford it. Billet Specialties stuff is really expensive but their valve covers, air filters, are breathers, etc in the ball milled look nice.
