Have a chevy 305 with HEI. Plan to swap in a 350 next spring, and use an MSD 6AL and will need a distributor for that application.

in the mean time, i'd like to get the MSD and play with it in the 305, which has an HEI.

SO, can i do that, and how is it hooked up?
Do i use the HEI coil or can i go with MSD or Accell coil?
If not HEI coil, new cap, dist or what mods?

(this camaro is fighting us. needs exorcised i think, or peraps it just doesn't like hanging out with fords. - new trans and TC, and the TC is wrong. we asked -twice, and still were givne the WRONG one...so out it all comes again. AND the TV cable broke on installation, and after replaceing leaks at the trans... AND the shifter cable broke on the second start ....And folks ask why i prefer Fords! )
