Angle Plug Heads

What is the benefit of heads that are angled? I find them to be a hassle with headers and wires. Any input/opinion guys?

angle plug heads for chevys made it much easier to access the plugs and wires since the pugs angled away from the exhaust ports......

Better flame propogation across the chamber resulting in increased horsepower.

I have a set of World Products Sportsman II. I bought them used (but new) with a short block. Just was unsure of the benefits.
