Performance Camshaft question
I have a stock 350 except for a Edelbrock performer intake, Edelbrock 600 carb. and Sanderson headers. I'm not looking for optimal performance but want a cam that will give a radical sound and idle. I plan to have the stock heads ported but what is the largest cam that I can install without worring about piston to valve clearance. (OR), what will stock heads need to take a higher lift and duration? Most streetrods I see have a mild tone but I want a wild sound that will turn some heads.

That's the sound of compleate inneffincy,
will that type of cam work with a mild engine? NO
Will that cam type be efficent in traffic? NO
Will the cam work well in low RPM's, under 3k? NO
Finally, Will that type of cam work with your setup? NO
The most cam your gonna practly need is just a mild cam, the hot cams with lots of lope, are no good for anything except drag racing, a mild cam will give you moderate lope, but nothing like a hot cam.
