over heating
my 57 chevy has always run hot, about 3/4 on the temp gage
it is a stock radiator for a 283 i have a 327 with a iski street
cam performer manifold and performer carb 9:1 comp i am running
a 180 deg thermostat do you think a 160 deg thermastat
would help or do you think the radiator is to small since it
was designed for a 57 283 chevy?

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
