I've had a love hate relationship with BG. I would not buy another. the carbs that I have had had quality control issues with seats and base plates. Any moving parts in the carb had to be replaced with Holley parts due to the poor quality of there product in my Speed Demon. I had a base plate that was so damn hard to engage the secondary that I switch to a proform base. Would not hold a consistant Idle do to the poor aligment of the butterflies on the throttle shafts. The carb performed well on the dyno but on the streets thing went bad fast. I replaced and rebuilt my carb with Holley parts and all is well now, But I shoud not have had to do that. There Tech was a joke. They talked to me as if everything was my fault. CArb also leaked so bad when we balted it on the first time I had to go get new gaskets for the float bowl. PM me for more BG Hell. Buy a Holley HP. Or just build one. Theres not a whole lot to a 4150 style carb that you can't do yourself.
Later Dennis
