    Those blocks did not have four bolt mains unless someone had the block machine for four bolt main caps. 327's with small journal cranks did not have four bolt mains from the factory. I know because I had one.

    In 1965, my buddy and I bought a brand new 375 hp 327 short block from the Chev dealer. It did not have 4 bold mains. As I remember, it cost just over $300!!
