Are you thinking of using early iron heads for the sake of period correctness or using aluminum heads and paintin' 'em orange??
What fuel do you plan to use??
What trans??Last edited by techinspector1; 07-05-2005 at 06:27 PM.

If it's a gasser, it would have most likely had port injectors, maybe some early Corvette valve covers, and a vintage magneto. I would consider fenderwell headers to give it that period look. Also, most of those cars ran 4-speeds.
None of these items are really suited for today's racing, but would certainly add to the charm and popularity of the car.

Here's a streetable EFI if streetable is what you had in mind. Blower Drive Service also makes a system, but I couldn't find a photo.....

I don't know the cost, but I'd get ready to grab my ankles if I were you......
Kept looking, came up with this.....

I hope to use aluminum heads painted orange. I will run cam 2 racing fuel. Trans is a 350. Motor is set back. I will run 2 fours. I hope to compete in a Nostalgic drag racing circuit that is running here in the northeast. I am looking for any tech articles or information on building this.Originally posted by techinspector1
