    Distributor gear

     



    I have an all stock 350 SBC stock vaccum advance dist. I have a lot of play in the dist shaft I know I can shim it I'm just not sure what the clearences are. any help would be greatly appreciated..Thanks Aaron

    47fordCOE, the main shaft clearance in a GM dist. should be between .002"- .007".
