How much hp?
I'm curious. I have a 383 sb with 10.5 to 1 comp ratio, AFR 195 flow heads, Rpm air gap intake, 750 cfm carb, flat tapet roller rockers, headers, and my cam will be at 520 lift fully open. Should i not exite my self thinking im going to get close to 500 ponies at the crank???? I know its hoping for a lot but realisticly, how much hp should i expect. Any Ideas?UUHHH........WHAT?

I would expect it to be pretty close to that...certainly 450+ is a certainity provided you use good headers and ignition and it's tuned well. If you knew the duration numbers, I'm sure someone could plug some of the basic info of what we know about your combo and give you a ballpark figure with a desktop dyno....

Realistically, probably 425-430. Only way to tell is with a dyno.

I cant remember the duration and the numbers for the cam. But my ignition is a HEI from Mallory. I'll see what it does when i get it runnin and broken in. Thanks guys.UUHHH........WHAT?
Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
