on my 1977 monte carlo the transmission slips when it first takes off. I was wondering what type of transmission it would have. i have found two transmission super rebuild kits for it but i need to know the exact type of trans it is. (not manual or automatic). If i pull the tranny would it have it engraved on it somewhere?
