These things can't be that accurate. I ran my numbers in mine by using the 1/4 mile speed and weight of the car and this thing is saying I'm putting out 284 hp. I used the door sticker of the gvw minus about 100 lbs from loosing the air conditioning, air pump and part of the interior then added my 160 lbs with a 1/4 speed of 90 mph. Just a guess cause my speedo stops at 85. The sticker says my car weighs 4094 lbs which seems kinda heavy.

You'll want to use curb weight. Do a search.

couldn't find it but here's what I did. I took the gross vehicle weight and subtracted the maximum cargo load and added my weight and came up with 229 hp. Mind you that it's an estimate of 90 mph cause my speedo only goes up to 85. I should change that one of these days
I tell people at work about my problems around 90ish and they're like why do you need to go that fast anyway. I say it sucks when 90 happens so fast.

most truck stops have a set of scales to measure true weight most will let cars weigh. in your measurement you forgot things like gas, oil, and coolant and mods like factory rims or aftermaket? tire sizes? its much easier to weigh car on scales and know for sure, my guess is about 3650 lbs in a firebird/camaro
IF IT AINT BROKE TRY TO FIX IT ANYWAY
