    377ci in my 86 C-10 shortbooty

     



    I consideering putting an 377ci in my 86 Chevy shortbooty.The reasons for it are twistability and I would like at least 400 ponies.Any ideas I am working with a budget. I'm looking for some heads, Any junkyard gold mines out there?

    In that heavy truck you would probably like a 383 or long rod 406 better. I have a 406 in my 81 shortbed step and it almost compares to the 402 big block that was in her before. The only "budget heads" are like 441's but the budget gets shot putting the proper exhaust seats in them. If you can get some 882's that aren't cracked and are willing to do some hand intake and exhaust port matching, you can make these flow better than many of the other early production heads
