    camshaft

Still looking at camshaft ideas. Here's what I want

I want a decent daily driver with some punch. Doesn't have to be the fastest in town. and it doesn't have to lay 300 ft of rubber. I do want it to run comparable to a 2000ish WS6. I figure my top end won't be 160 mph, but I'd like the acceleration. I believe the 2002 WS6 that my wife's old boss had was around 325 hp. I was wandering about the stock 350 hp 327 cam? I don't want to loose streetability. I also figure the 700r4 isn't going to stand up to a lot of power. I'd be content with 305-320 hp

the 2002 ws6 was more around 425hp....If you want a cam like that one then get one with those specs....but don't expect your engine to run like that unless you have the same LS1-LS6 style engine.

everything I'm finding on the ws6 is saying it's 325 hp 350 lb ft of torque. That's even what the sales brochures said.

Those factory spec's are way underated! For insurance purposes they list 325hp....check all the sites that have dyno'd one.....it's upper 425hp easily....
