cam instalation??

Well ac4 what do u want the engine to do? Low rpm or hi rpm power? waste fuel or save fuel? last a long time or take it apart between races? Probably something in between.Choose your battles well===If it dont go chrome it

high rpm we hit about 6100 and 3000 through the corners so pretty high

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
